ICYMI: England Stay In Super 8 Reckoning At T20 WC
In a rain-marred game that began after a three-hour delay and was eventually truncated to 10 overs a side, Jos Buttler's men beat Namibia by 41 runs (DLS method) earlier today. They have done what they needed to, in terms of staying afloat for Super Eight qualification. All eyes are now on the ongoing Australia vs Scotland game, which the Scots must win to upset the English applecart.

The second day of UEFA European Championship 2024 continued to witness a flurry of goals after Germany's 5-1 thrashing of Scotland in the opener. Spain blanked Croatia 3-0 and defending champions Italy had to come from behind to trump Albania 2-1. Switzerland dispatched Hungary 3-1 in the other Group A meeting.

LPGA: Aditi Ashok Tied 14th In Michigan
Indian golfer Aditi Ashok picked three birdies in the last five holes, but still dropped to tied 14th from overnight tied 10th at the end of the third round of the Meijer LPGA Classic in Michigan.
Aditi, who is still looking for her first Top-10 of the season, had five birdies against two bogeys, as she found only two thirds of the fairways, which was much less than the first two days.
However, her putting, which was better than the first two rounds, saved the day for her. (PTI)

Indian star Jyoti Randhawa was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Paul Lawrie match play on Legends Tour Europe as he lost to James Kingston, who is having a great season.
Randhawa had won his first three matches to reach the quarters while Jeev Milkha Singh had lost in the second round.
