Dilara Akter started the Bangladesh inning with a boundary off the first delivery of Udeshika Prabodhani's over. Then she took a double on the next delivery. On the third delivery, she bowled her and dismissed Rubya Haider on the next delivery. Two wickets in the first over for Sri Lanka.

Captain Chamari Athapaththu and Vishmi Gunaratne opened the batting for Sri Lanka women as Marufa Akter came to bowl the first over. She gave just one run from the over.

Marufa Akter came to bowl her second over on trot and leaked five runs despite being hit a boundary on the first delivery of the over. Vishmi Gunaratne and Chamari Athapaththu are taking a defensive approach at the start.

Nahida Akter came to bowl her second over and she dismissed Sri Lanka women's captain Chamari Athapaththu on the fifth delivery of the over. Harshitha Samarawickrama is the new batter at the crease.

This kind of surface if you lose so many wickets in the powerplay it is difficult. Me and Shorifa tried to hang around but they used their powerplay very well. It is about intensity but it's about choosing the right option and wanting to look at them for the next game, Nahida bowled very well and that's a positive we can take for the next games, fielding we need to rectify.

This is more special as my family was there to watch it. I want to thank my parents and my sister. Pitch is really good and our team did a great job on the field, we restricted them to 111. That's why it was easy to chase it down. [on her reverse sweeps] I have to work on that as moving forward I need to have more shots.

As a captain, I'm really proud of my girls, from the last couple of months we have been playing really well. We would like to continue this. We worked hard on our fielding, thanks to the fielding coach for the effort. Definitely, we can go all the way. Want to thank the crowd in my language. [then thanks the crowd in Sinhala].
