The collective medal count of the Indian Para-Badminton Team at the Asian Para Games 2023 stands at 21, more than the three previous editions combined.
Four of the 21 medals the Indian Para-Badminton team clinched were gold, all coming on Friday, October 27, 2023, at the Binjiang Gymnasium in Hangzhou, China. Pramod Bhagat (SL3), Suhas Yathiraj (SL4), and Thuslimathi Murugesan (SU5) finished top of the podium in their respective singles categories, while Nitesh Kumar and Tarun Dhillon matched the feat in doubles.?
Overall, the Indian contingent collected four gold, four silver, and 13 bronze medals across the week-long tournament.
