Neither for me, honey nor the honey bee,” wrote Sappho. Without bees the world as we know it will be stung to nullity. Md Ariful Islam migrates with the news of the bees around this country and spreads awareness about the importance of the bees in the environment. People must know how they kill the bees unknowingly. More trees we need. Less technology in some sectors.

Ariful and his friends are called the Migratory Beekeepers. Their aim is to educate people about the roles of the bees, the vulnerability of the insects, and the benefits of keeping them. Bees are dying due to climate change, says Ariful.? More trees is the ans-wer, he adds. The Migratory Beekeepers urge people not to chop off the small plants growing out of the crevices of the outer walls or beside drainage. They desire to run courses in schools or colleges and train the students on how to keep bees.

Ariful claims the movement is gaining popularity, and now all the beekeepers are trying to open a self-help group, and they hope to develop a cooperative in the near future.
