The world of sport is a Boys’ Club, both at the level of players and administration. For women to break into this world, they need more than talent and a thick skin. In this issue, we explore not just how women—heterosexual, lesbian, transgender, Adivasi, Dalit and from religious minorities—pursue sport and shine in their fields but have also stopped tolerating discrimination.
