On Friday, as Kriplani?underwent the security screening?ahead of boarding a domestic flight, she?allegedly made a shocking claim to the vigilant CISF staff that bombs were attached to her body following which the security personnel initiated emergency protocols to take the situation under control.
As a precautionary measure, the airport’s security was beefed up?and the passengers and staff in the vicinity were swiftly evacuated to a safe distance.
In a bid to ascertain the validity of her claims, the elderly woman was immediately detained by the CISF personnel?and performed a thorough inspection to ascertain the validity of her claims. After the inspection, the authorities reached the conclusion that the woman’s claim was entirely false and it was?nothing more than a misguided attempt to create chaos.
The woman was later handed over to the local police by the CISF personnel.Vimantal police have issued notice to her and registered a case against her under IPC sections 505 and 182.
