The policemen in Andhra Pradesh came to the rescue of a tribal man who was carrying body of his dead wife on his shoulder back to his home in Odisha, the NDTV report said.

Andhra Pradesh: 33-year-old man from tribal community in Odisha started walking along a highway his wife’s body after an auto rickshaw driver refused to take them home and he had no money to arrange another vehicle.
According to the report, 33-year-old man from tribal community started walking along a highway his wife’s body after an auto rickshaw driver refused to take them home and he had no money to arrange another vehicle.
The man carrying his wife’s dead body was spotted by people near Vizianagaram and informed police, who later pooled money to help him, it said.
The report mentioned that Ede Samulu from Odisha's Koraput had admitted his ailing wife Ede Guru to a hospital in Visakhapatnam's Sangivalasa.
“The doctors advised him to take her back to their village - Sorada in Odisha - after she stopped responding to the treatment,” it said.
The man had hired an auto-rickshaw to return back home, however about 130 kilometers away from the hospital his wife died near Vizianagaram, it stated.
Left mid-way by the auto-rickshaw driver, Ede Samulu had no money to hire a vehicle again, it stated.
