According to Supreme Court lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai,?senior advocate Gopal Sankarnarayan, who was appearing for Moitra, had?conflict of interest.
It has been reported that the case was postponed after Moitra's lawyer withdrew from the case citing a 'conflict of interest'.

"I am no longer concerned with the case I have withdrawn from the case," Mr Sankarnarayan said as soon as the 'conflict of interest' was brought up.
Earlier, the TMC MP described Mr Dehadrai as a "jilted ex" who wants to get back at her.
About the case
Mr Dehadrai had provided alleged evidence to BJP leader Nishikant Dubey of Ms Moitra accepting cash to ask questions in the Parliament.
Hiranandani’s affidavit
Industrialist Darshan Hiranandani also claimed that he bribed Mahua Moitra to ask questions in Parliament.
According to the three-page affidavid,?Hiranandani?claimed that Moitra leveraged attacking the Adani Group as a way to become famous. He also asserted that Ms Moitra shared her Parliament login credentials with him.
Responding to the explosive allegations, Moitra held the?the Prime Minister's Office accountable for pressurising Hiranandani?into signing the document.
