The 26-hour countdown for the launch of Chandrayaan 3, India’s third lunar exploration mission, has commenced from?1:05 pm today. The?Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch the?Chandrayaan-3 by LVM3 rocket at 2:35 pm tomorrow from the Sathish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota.?

The ISRO has already undertaken a 24-hour 'launch rehearsal' simulating the entire launch preparation and process for the mission.?The soft landing on moon's surface is planned for late August.
