125 Mandals In AP To Face Heat Wave
The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA) has issued a forecast of severe heat wave conditions in three mandals on Thursday, with 125 more mandals expected to experience heat wave conditions. Inkollu mandal in Bapatla village is likely to record the highest temperature of 46 degrees Celsius, prompting APSDMA's managing director B R Ambedkar to advise people to take necessary precautions in view of the scorching heat.
It also said heat wave conditions would prevail in 125 more mandals today. Komarada and Parvatipuram mandals in Parvatipuram Manyam district and Kotananduru in Kakinada are expected to experience severe heat wave.
