Originally hosting a race around the town's streets, the track's popularity grew after the Second World War, leading to the creation of a permanent circuit. For decades, elite-level motorsport events graced the Netherlands through this iconic venue.
After a hiatus following the 1985 Formula 1 season, the Dutch Grand Prix returned with a new fervor.
