Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced his upcoming directorial starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal. While Ranbir and Alia will be collaborating with the director for the second time, this is the first time the ‘Sam Bahadur’ actor will be joining hands with the director. Vicky Kaushal’s father, Sham Kaushal, expressed his joy in his son’s upcoming project.

Vicky Kaushal will be starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love & War.' Reacting to this announcement, his father - Sham Kaushal - expressed his happiness.
Speaking to The Times of India, Sham Kaushal expressed how overjoyed he was with this news. He said he is overwhelmed to see his son collaborate with the esteemed director. Sham Kaushal has worked with Bhansali on numerous projects. Recalling his experience of working with Bhansali, the stunt coordinator said, “I started working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in 1996 with ‘Khamoshi.’ Sanjay had taken me in all his 10 films, and it is his nobility that he made a part of his projects repeatedly. If I look back, this is one of the biggest earnings of my life.”
Sham Kaushal added that he had never expected Vicky Kaushal to grow up and become an actor. Add to it, he had never expected that his son would get to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He said, “I had never dreamt that Vicky would become an actor and get a chance to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. I am only thankful to Sanjay. Rest, God does everything.”
He mentioned that he is happy to see his son working with Bhansali like him. He continued, “My association with Sanjay has been for 28 years, and my next generation is working with him is a blessing. You can imagine the happiness of a father. This is what I want to express as my gratitude to the man, I can say I am the blessed one. When Vicky came and told me, my happiness was beyond imagination.”
‘Love & War’ stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. The film will be released in Christmas 2025.
