It’s a sad day for the world of stand-up comedy. Popular comic Kenny DeForest is reported to have died at a Brooklyn Hospital after he was involved in a single-vehicle e-bike accident back on December 8. He has been famous for his numerous comedy specials and appearances on numerous late-night shows like ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’ and ‘The Late Late Show With James Corden’. He was seen even in HBO’s ‘Crashing’ and Comedy Central’s ‘Tales From The Trip’. He passed away at a young age of 37.

Previously it was reported that the accident happened when Kenny DeForest’s e-bike and a car collided, but after an EMS report was revealed it was said that his e-bike crashed somehow at the site of the incident.

Speaking to Deadline, Ryan Beck, a close friend of Kenny DeForest informed, “We’ve learned more information today from an EMS report. Kenny was on an e-bike and crashed. I spoke with crossing guards at the area today, and am still in search of more information. There is no police report because it was not a hit-and-run as first understood.”

Ryan Beck had opened up about the death of his friend and set up a GoFundMe page, which could help the family members with the medical bills. The page also informs all fans of the comic that his organs will be donated as much as possible.

As per reports, Kenny DeForest had a brain bleed and a part of his skull had to be removed to relieve the pressure. Even ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’ took to social media to pay their condolences on the death of Kenny DeForest. Many other close friends and family members expressed their regard for the death of the comedy star.

May his soul rest in peace.
