Janhvi Kapoor Reveals Boney Kapoor Was Upset About Being Removed From 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' Trailer
On 'Koffee With Karan 8'. Janhvi Kapoor revealed that her father was upset that he was not included in the trailer of Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar'.
On the latest episode of 'KWK 8', host Karan asked, “Can we take a moment to talk about his acting debut? Apparently, he was very sad when he wasn't in the trailer''. To which Janhvi said, “Yeah, he said 'wahi toh selling point hai tumhari film ki, mujhe hi nikaal dia (I was the selling point of the movie and they removed me).”
Earlier, while talking about?his few dialogues in the film, Boney Kapoor told HT,?“Dialogues ya scenes kam kyun the, yeh toh aap director ko puchiye. Write a letter to Luv Ranjan and ask, ‘Aapne itne achhe artiste ko waste kaise kar diya?’ But, mujhe toh mazaa aaya karke, it was a good and happy unit''.
When Karan asked if Khushi and Janhvi were proud of their father's acting debut, the former said that she had gone to visit him on 'AK vs AK' sets and she saw?13 suitcases full of items from her dad's wardrobe. They also spoke?about their father’s?obsession with airport looks, and how pricey he can sometimes behave.
On the generation gap between them and their father,?Janhvi said, “He has become quite cool now. We shocked him a lot. Now he is shocking us!”
When Karan further asked if he is comfortable?hanging out with their boyfriends, Janhvi said, “He is hanging out with our ‘friends’. Now I am feeling like he is from a generation that’s not been born yet. Because I am not prepared for how woke he is.”
