Deepti Sharma's all-round display went in vain as Australia beat India in the second T20I to level the three-match series 1-1 in Navi Mumbai on Sunday. Deepti scored a vital 31 to steer her team towards a respectable 130/8. She also scalped two wickets but Ellyse Perry and Phoebe Litchfield turned on the screws for the hosts as they struck two fours in the first three balls of the penultimate over to dash India's hopes and give them a victory.
