Kuldeep Singh's journey from a player to a coach is an inspiring tale of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Hailing from a small village called Gohana in Rajasthan's Beawar, Kuldeep's story is one of overcoming adversity and breaking barriers. In a town where cricket was the only sport that people were familiar with, Kuldeep began his fitness journey with cricket. However, his elder brother, Vikram Singh, suggested he switch to a sport like volleyball, given his height. With his brother's and uncle's support, Kuldeep moved to Ahmedabad and fell in love with basketball, and from there, his journey to becoming a sportsman began. Despite facing numerous challenges, including the loss of his father at a young age, Kuldeep's passion for sports kept him going. With hard work, he made it to the national basketball team and won numerous medals. He also pursued a diploma in NIS to become a certified coach and has taught over 3000 students in Ahmedabad, some of whom have gone on to play national and international games. Even during the pandemic, Kuldeep did not give up on his passion for sports and started an ABHYAN in his village to motivate children to take up sports. His efforts have borne fruit, and many of his students have gone on to serve the nation in the Indian army and police. Kuldeep's story is a testament to the power of sports to break barriers and transform lives.
