When we entered this industry, it was about round circular pipes. There were many large and established players with whom we were competing. We were a very small player in the market. So we thought, that how to differentiate our position, then we decided to manufacture square and rectangular tubes, which replaced the conventional products’ like steel angle, channel, wooden structure, and aluminium profiles. This is the way we have given a new dimension to the market. We are the World’s First Company to produce steel tubes from 10mm*10mm to 1000*1000mm with 0.23mm to 40mm thickness.

We have 55% market share in India’s structural steel tube industry. As an industry leader, we endeavor to bring the best technology to steel tube manufacturing, so that it can boost the industry as a whole in terms of efficiency and product innovation. We have been pioneers in bringing the latest technology in structural steel tube manufacturing such as DFT (Direct Forming Technology), ERW (Electrical Resistance welding), inline galvanizing technology, and high-speed rolling mills. We are glad that small players are also keen to adopt these technologies, which will augment the overall proficiency of the entire industry.

Today APL Apollo has 11 plants across the country along with the highest number of SKUs which is in the range of 1500+ and 75 registered trademarks, with 16 registered product designs. Our strong distribution network has played a pivotal role to occupy the leading position in the Industry. We have more than 800 distributors pan India, who further sell out products to 50,000 retailers and 2 million fabricators down the value chain. We have an extended distribution network of warehouses and branch offices in 29 cities across the country.

Our Raipur plant is coming up with a 1 million tonne capacity. APL Apollo is going to produce 100% innovative products in Raipur.
