The FICCI Industry 4.0 Awards, now in its second edition, have successfully concluded, providing a groundbreaking platform for industries to showcase their prowess in successful digital transformation use cases. These awards, a first of their kind in the country, are an initiative of the FICCI Industry 4.0 Committee, designed to promote sophisticated digital systems and impart knowledge on adopting a digital ecosystem. The coveted FICCI Industry 4.0 Awards are bestowed upon firms and companies that exhibit high performance in digital systems and successfully navigate a rigorous three-tier evaluation process. The journey to secure this distinguished award was nothing short of extensive, beginning in April 2023. The FICCI Industry 4.0 award process comprises three qualifying stages: Document Assessment of all applicant units, On-site Audit for shortlisted units based on Document Assessment, and a Jury Presentation to finalize the Awardees.
The detailed process involves the design and finalization of award applications with the support of industry experts, circulating applications among industry players, and empanelling auditors/assessors for evaluation based on prescribed eligibility criteria. The on-site audit by auditors for shortlisted units is conducted by the FICCI Working Group on Industry 4.0, with the results presented to the FICCI Working Group for further assessment. The final stage involves the Jury Presentation and the selection of Awardees by the Hon'ble Jury, culminating in the grand announcement of awards in a prestigious conference setting.
